Chunghwa Zhonghua Double Medium (中华双中支)

Zhonghua Double Medium is a Zhonghua product intended for the domestic Chinese market. It uses an 89mm medium-length cigarette format and is supplied in a hard pack.

What Does “Double Medium” Mean?

The Chinese term 双中支, commonly referred to as “Double Medium”, identifies this particular Zhonghua product and its distinctive two-section inner packaging.

Inside the hard outer pack are two separately enclosed foil-wrapped sections, with 10 cigarettes in each section. Together, the two sections contain 20 cigarettes.

This dual-compartment arrangement keeps the cigarettes separated into two enclosed groups and is designed to reduce direct exposure to air, helping maintain more stable moisture conditions within the packaging.

The cigarettes have a stated length of 89mm, giving this product its medium-length format.
